V-Ray and Corona Renderer Just Got a Room Together!

This one is a textbook definition of news! Render Legion and Corona Renderer join the Chaos Group family. Peter, Vlado, Adam, Ondrej and Jaroslav announced it today, on stage, at the D2 conference in Vienna. Did a BIG Disturbance in the (brute) Force Just Happen?

All of you using Corona 1.6 hot fix 2 and getting x2 faster renders… that is due to V-Ray DMC Sampler already integrated into Corona!

Both companies have been working on this for the past 13 months… yes! The compatibility between assets they plan to introduce, allowing you to open V-Ray/Corona scenes and just render with the render of your choice, with no converters needed, is an amazing thing. Materials, proxies, lights etc. will work in either engine.
